Well,I suppose the only people that can answer that question are Migris' insiders but I doubt they will have explain, which is understandable.

Anyway, since I got what I wanted and everything went well, I'll now leave this part of the forum forever, get on with my life and enjoy my first snow as a Finn. Good luck to everyone.

Finally i got my positive decision today. Applied on 26.06. It went into stage 2 today afternoon and late afternoon i got it.

Upon clarification request from Migri, do we need to send the documents by post or is it enough to submit the scans through enterfinland.

If you applied online into enterfinland then scan and upload there.
If you applied by paper then reply by post.

Quick question: It's OK to travel inside Europe if your application is under processing without informing the Migri office, right? My concern is if the decision comes if I'm outside FInland, I could still travel back

You don't need to inform Migri about your travels, they may ask you before making the decision where you have been traveling from the application date.
If you apply by enterfinland you will get the decision or additional questions there.
If you applied by paper then you need someone to check your post.

ID checked on 4 July 2017 and the decision came today.
I uploaded additional payslip about three months but I wasn't asked, it was at my descretion. It moved to step 2 on Monday.

He applied and confirmed identity July 04.07.2017

Went to stage 2 on Monday 30.09.2017

He uploaded 3 months payslip at his own discretion last month

No additional document was requested

He applied at Tampere
