Some more interesting Premiership match-ups in 4th Round. I figure there can now only be a maximum of 10 PL clubs in the last 16.
Ummm... why has the 4th Round draw been posted on "I've got a fetish", BTW? A foot fetish, perhaps?

Strange comment by Ian Rush today when asked about the Liverpool v Newcastle draw, he said:
"obviously football is the winner with this draw, having two attacking sides come together".
Liverpool? Attacking side?

WTF happened to MU tonigh? they were a shadow of the team I used to admire! lucky for them Porto was not very ambitious.. But I do fear they'll have another face back home..
what do you think about the red card? Every time I see the replay I am sure Keane did it intentionally, but it is hard to believe that the ref could be so sure of it..

[quote="Niall Shaky"]Roy Keane is a great player and a total nutter (I wish he played for Liverpool).

Roy Keane is Not a Great Player..he has talent.. but a "Great Player" would not make so many stupid un - neccasary, and in this case un provoked, nasty physical attacks on other players with the nett result that he gets sent off "yet again" and his team has to try an win without the benifit of his talents.

"There was no malice in the incident, it is not Roy's style to do anything like that." (ferguson)
yeah, right!

True. Usually, he writes books about his "incidents"ajdias wrote:"There was no malice in the incident, it is not Roy's style to do anything like that." (ferguson)

But he's one of the main reasons why Man U have won so many championships in the last 10 years. That makes him the most importat player of the last 10 years, in England at least.PeterF wrote:Niall Shaky wrote:Roy Keane is a great player and a total nutter (I wish he played for Liverpool).

He's a truly driven individual. The only other players you can compare him with might be Viera at Arsenal or Gerrard at Liverpool. But although they share his style of play to a certain extent (and they're both more skillful) they don't have the leadership qualities and single-minded ambition that he has. He not only contributes with his own game, he demands that those around him play to their best. He's a winner. Pure and simple.
You have to look back to somebody like Souness or abroad to somebody like Luis Enrique (sadly well past his peak) or Hakan Sas to find somebody as eye-ball poppingly obsessed about winning.
So love him or loathe him (and being a Liverpool fan I loathe him) you have to admire him.
I wish Liverpool had someone with his level of commitment and authority right now.
Bill Shankly would've loved Roy Keane.

Keane was very naughty and deserves a ban for that (even though I hope he doesn't get a lengthy one). Things have gone decidely pear shaped this season, however with the away goal from Portugal its not all doom and gloom yetajdias wrote:bring this thread to life, once more...

Aha a new scandal for this thread to get its teeth into
Leicester have a bit of form for their players misbehaving on euro away friendlies (I attended this game in Kuopio
Leicester were on a pre-season tour of Finland in July 2002 when a late night game of cards ended with Wise punching team-mate Callum Davidson, fracturing his cheekbone. Wise was fined £50,000 - two weeks wages - and sent home before an internal inquiry and his sacking from his three year contract.
