I have been told about OPAO that some people have studied cooking and they They have accepted to obtain nationality; but is it only cooking that they accept?
I have been in Finland for more than 10 years and I have already tried the YKI test and I have not passed it. They do not use the real language that is normally used, it is planned so that you do not pass it, so it seems more real to me to do some study since I know my level is high since I can talk to all my clients and as much as sometimes I get confused when doing the grammar, I understand perfectly what options do you know for my case?

They don’t really mess with the language skills.
They have access to investigative the language skill by using the studyinfo. Anything uploaded there they will use it for future purpose.
Language:

You must have at least satisfactory skills in one of the following languages:

spoken and written Finnish
spoken and written Swedish
If you are deaf or have a hearing impairment:

Finnish Sign Language
Finland-Swedish Sign Language.
You must have a certificate of your language skills before you submit a citizenship application. Attach the certificate to your application.

But no one cares about "those" countries. We've had good relations with Russia for years and only "grandpa Pekka" is worried about modern day 'red army' crossing the border.

Of course Marin does the worst thing possible before getting voted out. "Quick let's make the irrecoverable decision to join NATO". Even my friends in Australia are smart enough to know what a bad idea that is. How a small country of about 5.5mil which is struggling with its OWN PROBLEMS, not fighting other people's wars, provokes their neighbor for no reason. She played every get out of jail free card to try and save her reputation. "No they hate me because I'm a woman!" "No they hate me because I had 2 Mums!" "They hate me because I'm young and I still should be allowed to go clubbing whilst on duty!"

How do all the people here getting citizenship, think about having to go to the Finnish army after getting it, and your children too. Now so you can fight other countries wars somewhere else? How do you all feel about that? It's madness.

What is PS going to do? At least turn some corners from heading into a socialist dystopia. At least stop taking money out of the pocket of the tax payer to send it to bloody Africa. At least stop considering making the taxpayer pay for some mentally ill person to cut off their genitals. Maybe stop looking at the Finnish citizens as "cash cows" that they can just throw cash into what ever crap to just 'look good' to leftist, liberal twats. Instead of thinking about whether it's economical to do so.

All we've had in the last 20 years is progressively more leftist government, every single election. Yet despite this. Privatisation of universities. Degradation of our public education. Hyperinflation. Degradation of healthcare. People are complaining about highest level of racism ever. Total failure of "universal income". Doubling of import taxes. They even postponed all the carbon neutral targets we had! Really makes you think what are these leftist socialist governments doing except taking your money and doing whatever they think they should to LOOK GOOD.

Sanna Marin is a perfect example of these demorats that get rich and famous FROM politics. A real leader is only concerned about leading and doing what is right. Not what "looks good".

I'll agree they PS has had complete joke of a leader in recent years and that's why they couldn't make government. They were a laughing stock for a good reason. Soini was a total joke party leader and a walking meme. But their goals are what's right for Finland. At least if we voted for them. We get who we vote for. There is no way I believe a word of this. After 5 day a week government provided Finnish courses I could speak the language well enough to pass in only 12 months. Yet I probably could have passed YKI after 6 months because it was so easy... There is no way you work as a "Finnish speaker" and cannot pass after 10 years. If you can't pass the test, you can't speak Finnish. We've all done it and they absolutely DO use real Finnish language. This is one of the funniest posts I've read in months.

Just do the practise test a few times duhh and then do the real test. If you can't pass that, you don't speak or understand actual Finnish. Just sounds like you're lazy or scared of failing.

There's no way around it. Unless you went to Finnish speaking school in Finland as a kid, or can do Finnish sign language.

In fact, I had almost decided not to try anymore until a friend who doesn't speak it passed by and another did a course ; if I can will test my ability through studies ok, but if it is through the Yki test, I am not going to waste my time anyway, it is not that I need it, being from a country of the European Union, I can renew my residence without any problem.
i work, luckily I don't lack work and they are satisfied with my level in the language and even i already have 3 places where they offer me work of course in finish so my level won't be that bad in ends.
