Has your application already been submitted? The FAQ section covers the option you described. We applied citizenship in october 2023. Registered medical doctor in finland both me n my wife. We apllied 3 months before 4 years period. We are stuck at processing stage 1. Is it ok to apply 3 months earlier or??

I have the same situation and asked for clarification from Migri. Answer was simple: if I exceed 365 days total (or 90 days in 12 months before submitting application), that means I need to submit application in number of exceeding days later.
Example: if you are looking to submit your application when you reached 5 years residency, but you travelled total 400 days, you submit application in 5 years and 35 days.
