Yeah, just think, if Finland hadn't held the Germans to a goalless draw in Germany while England were struggling to get a draw at home against a Greek side that the Finns had murdered 5-1 a month or so earlier, why.. England might have won the World Cup.

Erm? my point was: You dont win games with IFs and MAYBEs :wink:

Yeah so what about ifs wasnt it already Greece were already out of the comp by then :!: :!: So dont throw that into the hat, that just dosnt compare.

Greece played hard against england cause most teams in Europe want to beat England for whatever reason

Do you just sit on the fence then come into this with a comment like that :lol: and for what.

My point was that as pointed out earlier in this thread Germany got to the WC final, so what they didnt have a hard route. If England had followed that route and got to the WC final, which you think they would have people would have a diiferent opion about England and Germany and how they seem to come up good in competitions.

Dont worry, we all know by now that the only team that matters is England. :twisted:
If France gets to the Euro2004 they are just unworthy because they had to play against Malta, Cyprus or Israel and not the real big teams Lichtenstein or Macedonia.
If Germany gets to the WC2002-finals its because they played vs South-Corea or Paraguay or the USA and not Nigeria or Sweden.
If England doesnt win anything in 38 years its because they had bad draws or were unlucky as all other teams are unworthy.

Not true. Look Im not even english :twisted:

I just pointing out the easy routes these teams have had and just because they made it to the finals dosent necessarily mean these are great teams, which others are saying they are. :roll:
