Hello,
I have applied mid December 2023, my diary number is 177xx/310/2023. My queue started from 8060 and now it is around 7k. Anybody applied before or after me?
I know it will take long time to process. Was just curious to see how things are going.

Recently I wrote an email asking about the different baskets/queues and the process of applications, staff mentioned in the reply that there are different baskets, and applications are assigned to different baskets depending on how much clarification and consideration the application requires with the help of automated check. My application is in one of the baskets, and applications submitted in mid-2022 will be processed in that basket.
Did they mention when this basket will be processed? Did you apply in mid June 2022?

Applications in this basket are being processed all the time, and currently they are processing the applications submitted in mid 2022. I submitted at the beginning of 2023 so I guess still some time to wait. When did you submit your application?

I applied mid June 2022

So I applied for ciitizenship 20 days ago, and received the diary number 12 days ago. However my queue has not moved much, it went down and then went up again. So basically the it was 8988 at the time of receiving diary number and today I checked it is again 8988? Is that normal during the first month or am I going to be one of the unlucky ones who will end up in the slow queue? Thanks.

Your queue is a normal one. Only if you do not get your citizenship on the sweet spot, it means that your application will be put into the slow basket.
Your queue doesn't move much because there are people who get their first queue number lower than yours, for example 8900 to start with. But that doesn't mean they'll get a decision sooner. Overall, you shouldn't worry too much before 6 months have passed. By the way, 8988 isn't too bad, I've seen someone start with 9148.

Thanks a lot for the insight! Seems I am stressing for no reason! :)

you are in the slow queue. They process October 2023 in fast queue now

This week's stats:
Total processed: ~96
Total processed above threshold: ~52
Processed above threshold to total processed ratio: ~0.54
Threshold processing median: ~12678/310/2023
2022 processing median: ~4017/310/2022
New applications created: ~187

Thanks for sharing such information every week. It's a very useful and clever way to track the applications and estimate when the sweet spot comes for each applicant.
I have some minor comments related to this graph to be even more informative and readable for others.
The texts for the Axis labels are too small and I can barely read them, especially on my phone. Moreover, it will be good if we have vertical lines in the back of the graph to see which queue number is in the range of the sweet spot let's say.
Thanks again for your valuable time.

Hi,

I have just one question. After last Friday's email (the "normal" email for every 24 weeks) from Migri, should I submit anything about my recent travel outside Finland using Additional document submission, which I already notify them earlier via email?
