No, he is not and the officer accepted and took my documents. I believe it shouldn’t be a problem since the process will take anyway at least 1,5-2 years. Well, I just hope so..

Some people (including myself) have gotten the citizenship within 8-9 months. But if you satisfy the requirements then that should be fine.

I applied based off of family ties-Finnish spouse. I have also lived in Finland for 12 years so it was a straighforward case.

What kind of supplement request they asked? Just wonder if I submitted all required documents. Well, in my case I don’t think I will receive any news soon. Long queue till they open my application

My stays in the stage 2 for more than 1 month. At least my case with stage 2 for month is not exceptional. Good luck with your application!

U do not understand. In this case application moved to the stage 2 and stayed there 4 months. In my case it moved to the stage 2 in 7 months and then stopped for month. Usually applications pass stage 2 in 2 days or 1 week though i know random cases when it wad in stage 2 for 9 months have no idea why. So do not attack person before knowing whats going on. We all are waiting here. I waited in stage 1 for 7 mnths, now waiting again. More than 8 mnths alltogether.

Just asking not attacking to anyone it’s hard to trust people in this forum because I called the Migri said they do decision applicant 2020. Myself I discussed this issue with the prosecutor last Friday . I said that the applications were not in order, it was illegal and selective.I said I want it to be investigated that it is unfair and not fair.Helsinki prosecutor said they would look into the matter.I wanted someone to be interested this issue while the prime minister was chasing parties.

there is an injustice, no one says, while someone waits for two years, someone takes it in six months, f… this kind

Yes , I am sorry you are in this position.I too I am still waiting for 11 month .I made a complaint last month and they have not answered me yet .
Have you made a complaint too ? or did you go to the police , as I see you mentioning Prosecutor , or did you mean inspector ?

Yes , I am sorry you are in this position.I too I am still waiting for 11 month .I made a complaint last month and they have not answered me yet .
Have you made a complaint too ? or did you go to the police , as I see you mentioning Prosecutor , or did you mean inspector ?

I think all their responses are just a !"#¤%. The process is completely chaotic, though obviously they are more chauvinistic towards pple from some countries. My friends applied in 2021, 5 months earlier than me, get it in 7-8 months. I applied in November 2021, still waiting and have zero hopes now, because of the ongoing conflict. I also called them, she checked my application, told me "all is ok" etc., but this their "all is ok" just a !"#¤%. They are just answering to answer in the same manner. Always.

For making residence permit application process (which was inhumanely long) faster a number of complaints was necessary, only that made them to make it faster. My colleague, who once was waiting for 6 mnth for RP, just got same responses "wait peacefully" from them, then they just found that they forgot his case. I mean I could understand keeping on waiting applications of people who never paid taxes here, but majority of applicants paid huge tax for all their residence here.

I submitted a personal dissatisfaction letter to the head of Migri, and copied some other agencies that are in charge of discrimination in Finland, but I am still yet to get a response from them yet. But at least, I had a good feeling afterwards to have taken that step.

I am not jealous of those who got applied and got their decisions within 7 months, the main question I asked was if Migri is pointing to backlogs from 2021 applications for their delayed decisions. On what grounds are those who submitted their applications in November 2021-January 2022 already receiving decisions over those who have been waiting for over 17 months without their applications being opened at all. If that is not selective profiling, I don't know what else could best describe their actions.
