working professionals and being an entrepreneur

Post by linpaco » Sun Aug 08, 2021 11:41 am

Hei all,

I have few questions:

1) Can salaried employees be an entrepreneur? If yes;
a) How do Vero calculates taxes?
b) In case, of unemployment can I claim unemployment benefits? If my side hustle is not working out and I loose my job too.

2) Does anyone knows, from whom/where can I get legal advice regarding setting up an OY?

Thank you all,

Tmi profit is taxed like additional salary.
An Oy pays company tax on profits and the shareholder pays tax when receiving dividends.

For earnings related unemployment benefits you will at all times want to make sure you are part of the proper fund. If you get classed as an entrepreneur, you need to be in the fund for entrepreneurs. However, a side hustle probably means you still have your status as an employee.
