annoying electricity telemarketers

Post by mojo88 » Wed Oct 20, 2021 1:10 pm

anyone else getting constant annoying monthly calls from
telemarketers trying to sell electricity contracts?

I asked them why they harass me with this and they say its their right to telemarket
anybody who has opened a phone contract.

Is there a way to get rid of them without cancelling my phone contract?

Closing a contract with Telia was 90 euro back in 2016 - its probably more now..

I lived in Finland for 4 years right now. And I changed my address through Posti 3 times. On every next day after I give them the notification of moving someone call me with the same thing. We want you to sell our electricity and blablabla. I told them politely if they could remove my personal data from their system and that I didn't want any future calls.

That’s solved the problem.

If Finnish telemarketers from Finland, just tell your company pays your bills

If it is Indian scammers then feel free to use character building adjectives, ask their email address, send them photos of penises and ask them to share it with their maternal figures.

Or just spin a virtual machine over VPN, invite them there and well, you know the rest

With scammers, just hang up the phone. There's really nothing to be gained from anything else.
