Post by kelly1992 » Thu Nov 11, 2021 7:29 pm

I mainly use S-bank but all my co-workers has Nordea or Op or something else.
and saying S-bank is not really even a bank at all..
but I don't have any problem with it and it doesn't cost yearly for membership..
should I get 'real' bank like my co-workers ??
what does it mean it is not even real bank ??

It is a real bank, you can get pretty much the same services (accounts, credit cards, loans, investments,...) as from any other bank , maybe not private banking, but anyway. If you're satisfied with their services, no need to change.

The S-group is involved in a vast array of businesses (retail, hotels, restaurants,... and nowadays also banking) and has roots elsewhere than financial services, which is probably why your colleagues say it's not a real bank.

It was under decade ago when S-bank started issuing mortgages. Many still remember time when only loan you could get from S-bank was credit card or consumer credit.
