After 8 months from the application and prove of Identity,, the process of my application began on Thursday. I did not hear anything on Friday. I think those cases that are straight forward get the decision in the same day. Right? Does this mean my case may take longer?
I came here in 2014 for studying and been on type A since 2018.

My application has been in processing since April 6 almost 3 months now no response from migri.
I was also thinking that maybe I haven’t completed 4 years of residence. Am completing 4 years of residence 11.8.2022. It could be the reason of the delay.

Background: Non-EU, came Finland on student visa in 2010, A status since 2019.

I also applied in June 2021 and queue number 3090. What I do not get if in a month they give over 800 decisions how come we are still many to not be processed? Migri is the only one that know why they do not treating all applicants fairly. Hopefully after summer we will get our own

I don’t believe, they give over 800 decisions at the month maybe 10 or 20 at month. I applied somewhere march still at stage one.

Those of you who are still waiting, are you on an A or P permit now? I have a theory they process applications from P permit holders slower since we are “not in a hurry” and they wouldn’t need to deal with a permit extension in our case.
