Hi
We are planning to paint our Rivitalo in Espoo. Its a 90 sqm house. Some of the walls have wall papers and holes.
Any idea how much would it approximately cost to paint white.
Also any pointers for the same who is reliable and does a neat work.
TIA.

Based on https://www.urakkamaailma.fi/seinan-maalaus (prices of actual painting renovations, in Finnish), a couple of thousand euros. You can save money by doing at least some of the prep work (removing wall-papers and floor moldings) yourself, the most expensive part being labor (from which you can get tax deductions, but still).

Just heads up, lots of people are doing all kinds of renovation work at the moment. Really difficult to find professionals who are now free.

Another heads up. I saw similar job done in office environment. Prepwork was couple of days, painting was couple of hours.

The amount of prep work can vary greatly, depending on the condition of the existing walls, e.g. lots of filling and sanding can take time. While not rocket science, one should have some idea of what they're doing, so that the amount of paid work is actually reduced.

I see a variety of pricing from €2500 to €10k with works from 4 days to a week or so.

To get figures for your own renovation you have to ask for quotes. If those already are quoted prices, it leads me to think if there's a misunderstanding about what exactly needs to be done and/or someone's trying to take you for a fool.
