Hi,
I am wondering if someone has buy-to-let experience in Finland. Questions in my mind are,
- Is it better to buy the property in one's own name or buy it in the name of a company? Tax matters are easier if the property/apartment is bought in the name of company?
- Does rental income impact your any possible kela's unemployment benefits?
- How is buy-to-let market in Finland from investment point-of-view? Any personal experiences?
Thanks!

Re: Buy-to-let Apartment and Rental Income
It is not a good idea, especially in these market conditions. If you really want to invest in brick and mortar I suggest you the same as I did : invest in an asuntorahasto, for example with s-pankki, it provides between 5 and 8% a year return, no problems with non paying tenants and all the problems related with owning a property. I have both an yksiö and asuntorasto and I wish I only had invested in the rahasto, big time.
