Ponters for charging station installation in parking lot

Post by ddfreedie » Wed Jun 15, 2022 6:44 pm

Hi

I have a verbal approval from my housing association board (need a formal approval still to start the work) to install my own charging station for my hybrid car. The electricity can be drawn from existing pole (with continuous flow) and add KWh meter for billing based on consumption.
Do anyone know how much does it cost roughly as i guess it can cost around 10c/KWh.?

I have added in urakkamaailma.fi but no response so far. Also one of the quote from housing company recommendation is 700€ (including installation and accessories etc.,). But that seems to be a little high cost as I was hoping the job with materials should cost around 400-500€ based on what I heard from other sources.

Can someone help with any pointers for reliable electrical workers?

TIA.

The examples on Urakkamaailma imply the installation cost (labor, cabling and small parts) being around 200€, with an electrical plan already in place, not including any other major work or parts, electrical or otherwise, or the charging station itself.

€ 700,- seems reasonable. I got an offer for €800,-. (including some groundwork)

Any help with some contractors?

Also how much does it charge approximately as I do not have a great clarity on how much the company pays for electricity. Just wondering will it still be in the range of 10c/KWh or more (I know if i ask the company i will get the input but any idea from this forum :) )

It really depends on the electricity contract.

10c/KWh sounds realistic for a fixed-price electricity contract from last year.
Contracts based on market prices are highly volatile, right now 20c/KWh is realistic for these.
20c/KWh is also a realistic number for fixed-price contracts made today.
Market prices for electricity in the EU network next winter will strongly depend on how the Russia/Ukraine situation develops.

That's exactly what I was thinking.
