Bank fees (recommend a good bank)

Post by Homeowner » Thu Jul 28, 2022 12:23 pm

Hello, can you recommend me a good bank with lower fees and service in English?

At the moment i am usung OP, i have a Visa Debit card and normal account where I receive my salary. I am not an owner-customer.

I dont have any loans or insurances with them.

My fee is over 7 € per month.

This is almost 100€ a year!

Can someone recommend me a bank with lower monthly fees?

Is it worth it becoming OP owner customer if I don't have any loans or insurances with them?

Thank you all in advance!

It depends on your average account saldo. With enough money in the bank, it could give you a (very) small extra income.

Was there any costs incurred to become an owner-customer? IIRC, it was just that you'd have OP as the salary account?

My experience is that it mostly depends on who you are speaking/ negotiating with. Danske, Nordea, all have good services as such. OP also has full-service, including insurance.

Non-banking cards, e.g. Norwegian are very good as well, and free.
