Applied: July 22,
visited Migri: October 22,
moved to stage 2 and an hour later got decision: 26Jan 23

Thanks to this forum for a lot of useful information!
Good luck to everyone 🍀
So it took you only 4 months. How?!

But congratulations of course! :P
Thank you!
Maybe this is due to innovation? 🧐 (I mean they don’t require additional payslips anymore)
It was an application, non-EU citizen with a child as co-applicant, permanent RP, permanent job, spouse is not Finnish.
I hope you get the positive decision soon!

Well, you’ve just looked into a mirror ;) Same here: non-EU, child is co-applicant (and was born in Finland), permanent RP, permanent job (senior engineer position at one of the biggest Finnish companies), spouce is not Finnish, no criminal records, no fines, clean credit history, 2 degrees from Finnish universities, own apartment. Waiting 16 months. Stage 1.

Have you contacted them already since it has now been the upper range of the expected waiting time?

I'm Really disappointed! it's same here for me! Non-EU applicant, family tie grounds, spouse non Finnish and applied 6 months ago (has permanent job), I have permanent job (senior position in one the biggest companies of the world!), no criminal, no fines, clean credit history, own apartment, good Finnish language skills, country NOT in the list, and still waiting 18 months in stage 1!

Welcome to the club, buddy! The club for people who are frustrated by Migri's awful work.
I'm also waiting for 18 months, no criminal records, no fines, clean credit history, permanent job, finnish university degree, never been on KELA. Still stage 1.

I recently emailed Migri about my application and they said that "odotettavissa oleva käsittelyaika-arvio voi olla tällä hetkellä jopa 27 kuukautta.", i.e. waiting time could be up to 27 months :o So you are getting really close to that.
