That explains alot...thank you for the clarification and information..best of luck to us in the queue...😀 😀
Well, it doesn't really explain anything :| Moved to Finland from Russia as a special expert, working full-time since day one for a major company - and still waiting in queue for a year without any progress at all :?
Yeps, and recently my buddy, who also comes from Russia, got his decision after 6 months of waiting: came as a student, working full-time, no Finnish spouse. It seems to be a trend that people, applied in the middle/end of 2022, are getting their decisions after half a year of waiting, at least I know several cases...

Well. It is not a trend, I came as a student then now working and applied in June 2022. No decision yet. It seems to be so random and no one knows what’s going on.

For how long did you have the student permit? Have you worked all the time since you have graduated?

For two years and half.
I am working all the time since I shifted to the A permit. Even before, I was working full time as well ;)

Country is not on the list. Right? Submitted your application and went for the interview in June? What's your queue number now? I am trying to see what is different from others who got it earlier. :D You thought of any other reason?

Interesting. So, you are working in a company? and when did you arrive to Finland? The queue number tells your application is different than others who got the citizenship earlier for some reason. Hopefully you get the positive decision soon!

. Great job. Looks like they are giving it to lots of people that applied in 2022 and sitting on 2020 and 2021 applicants. Anyway patience is a virtue

You could add my processing time as well. Processing started 5 months and 1 week later the Migri visit, stayed in processing stage for 3 weeks and got decision after, so all in all overall time was 6 months.

This is my case exactly, the only difference (I guess?) between us is that I’m a girl. But on the other hand, having read this forum for a couple of years, there seems to be no correlation of any kind, everything looks very random

Update for the forum’s stats:

Proved my identity in the end of September
Application moved to stage 2 at lunchtime today, half an hour later received a positive decision.

Incredibly fast, I was mentally prepared to wait for ages.
Congratss😊 can you please let me know when did you submit your application ?

Really true. Patience is Virtue. Mate queue #765 ja vielä stage one. Really crazy and selective system 🤦🏽‍♂️🤦🏽‍♂️
