Doubts about requirements Resident Permit Specialist

Post by SebastianM241 » Mon Dec 19, 2022 4:30 pm

Hello,
I am from a non-EU member state, I will be applying for a residence permit as a specialist.
On the website Migri.fi specify that for this residence permit a certificate degree is necessary. My certificate is on Spanish and I have already legalized with an apostille certificate in my country but I was wondering if the translation to English can be done by myself?. Unfortunately in my country there is not any Finnish mission or embassy to help me out.
Does an official translator put an stamp or something in the document translated?. I could contact with someone from the search engine available on the Migri.fi website but I dont know if the whole process can be done digital.

Hola Sebastián,

My degree is in Spanish as well, you cannot do the translation yourself you have to contact the translators from the list approved by Migri as they are registered.
I got my translation done of my digitalized documents and the translator sent the physical translations by mail, the while process took some time as it takes quite a while especially for the documents to arrive by post.

Remember that you have to translate and get the apostille in your birth certificate.

If you want you can DM me, as I've gone through the process myself.
