Why more and more R-Kioski in Finland are closing down?
Re: Why more and more R-Kioski in Finland are closing down?
I think they existed because they were open longer hours that regular supermarkets and the only reason you would pay their high prices would be that everywhere else is closed and your are desperate for a carton of milk. Now supermarkets are open longer (many 24h).
There is one local to me which just closed. They moved about 5 years ago to a new shopping mall with s market and k supermarket in the same building. But the opening hours were the same for all three stores. Now they have closed - why would anyone go to the R Kioski instead of the supermarket?
