Mitä tämä tarkoitta suomeksi?

Post by trentti » Tue Aug 16, 2005 2:40 pm

OK, I know I'm being lazy but as you may be able to tell from the Finnish in the subject heading my Finnish skills are a bit lacking right now :)

Would someone be able to tell me the best way to say

"Thank you for all your love and care for me over the years"

Kiitos paljon

"Kiitoksia kaikesta rakkaudesta ja huolenpidosta näiden vuosien aikana", maybe?

I wish I could say it was for a girlfriend, but actually I'm going to be saying it to my Mum at my 21st. It's hard enough to say in front of a big crowd in English, so I thought I'd do it in Finnish to make it more meaningful for her and also to save me from the ribbing I'd get from my mates :D
But ssshhh, just keep it between us, ok

Thanks for all your help!
