What do people tgunk of the combination of wood and electric heating for a house?

what do you mean by wood ? wood pellets that you buy or chopped up logs? do the logs come from your own forest.

if you have the trees already then it's basically free heating, which obviously influences the running costs.

as already said, I'd avoid pellets. they are expensive, and you need a continuous supply, if i'm assuming they are used to heat water elements in the house. Place I was considering buying was using pellets and it cost about 400 euros a month to heat.
