Kekkilä Landscaping and Recycling is looking for a Senior Production and Quality Manager to be responsible for the production and material procurement of our soil and composting plants in Finland, together with the production team.
In this role, you will get to develop production and processes to serve the needs of municipalities and construction companies. You will be responsible for the cost-effectiveness and quality of raw materials from sourcing to production, as well as the nationwide development of circular solutions together with the Circular Solutions Manager and the rest of the team. You will act as the team leader of our compact production team and also manage chosen soil stations and compost plants directly, depending on your location. As your teammates, you will have colleagues who take responsibility and are passionate about their work.

Description of key responsibilities and tasks within Landscaping & Recycling in BA Nordics:

- Team lead and production/process development in Finland
- Participation in strategy creation and ensuring critical production points/raw material flows in the national level
- Responsible for landscaping and recycling production output, cost-efficiency, quality, and productivity in own area
- Securing the needed quality through internal and external testing and analyzing
- Analysis of test results in cooperation with product management, producing resellers or contractors, adjustments when needed
- Visiting sites and customers for quality check-ups
- Finding new composting areas both own and together with partners
- Leading the local raw material group

Job requirements

To succeed in this role you will need:

- Experience in production management and front-office work
- Knowledge of raw materials, experience with wood raw materials, compost, and/or biogas production is an advantage
- Knowledge of the circular economy- An open-minded and forward-looking attitude
- Collaborative skills and ability to build networks
- An appropriate university degree
- Good knowledge of Finnish and English
- Ability to travel

In your role, you will report to the Director of production. Your place of work is the Dixi office of Kekkilä-BVB in Vantaa or another separately agreed office/soil station, depending on your location. In addition, distance work is possible under the Group's policy.
