It sounds good - playing outside in winter never seems to appeal to me, for some reason...

I'm interested - haven't been able to play much indoor and zero outdoor football here in Finland. Would be class to have a kickaround.

Friday evenings are currently well oversubscribed.

I might be interested in organising a regular indoor 5 a side game in Helsinki on a different weeknight in helsinki if I can get 10 players who will turn up consistently and pay approx €8.50 per game in advance. PM me if interested.

Ok the pitch is €85 so it would be €8.50 each for an hour game unless we also have a couple of subs. We should aim to have 15 players or so on the books as not everyone can always make it.

What time, where and what nights would we be roughly looking at?

I would have to work things out. But I would love to get back playing again.

One from Mon/Tue/Weds evening mate, the courts get cheaper after 2100 but we'll be looking for something around 1800/1900, most likely in Hakaniemi.

OK we have 5 players so far. Simon makes 6 although he almost has a 5 a side team of his own at home (3 boys?) So may not be so regular.

I reckon we need 12-15 players on the books to make this happen so 7 more needed.

Today I booked a pitch at http://www.meripeli.fi/ in Hakaniemi on a regular Wednesday night slot of 20:30-21:30 (It was the only time they had available).

The pitch is booked from Weds 24.1.2007 to Weds 30th May 2007

I promised the guy there I would let him know next Friday if we will take this or not. So by next Friday I need to have 10 confirmed players who can make the first Wednesday 24.1.2007

Therefore we need a few more players so ask a friend.

Even if you can't commit to every Weds please try and make this first one as it buys us a little more time to get some players.

I have emailed the people who contacted me already, anyone else interested can PM on this board. I will ask a few more people myself.

The pitch costs €85's so for 10 players it will be €8.50 payed in advance to my bank account. The place accepts work sports tickets so you can use these too if you get them.

Ideally we need about 15 players on the books, when this happens I will drop the price to about €7's assuming that we get about 12 players a week turning up (The pitch is big enough to play 6 a side or we can have 2 flying subs).

We will have a cap of 15 players though, anyone contacting me after that will go on a waiting list.

Fitness and skill level are unimportant as this is just for fun.

I'm confident we can get this off the ground so I look forward to hearing from you.

OK I think we deffo have enough players for the moment, anyone else contacting me will go on the waiting list. Could be they don't have to wait too long though as its a new event and these things often have a high turnover when they are starting up.

Its worth getting your name down on the waiting list as a few people dropped out and we took 3 new guys last week. PM me if you want to go on it.
