Lots of computer stuff for sale (Oulu area)

Post by paulrenn » Mon Sep 05, 2005 12:41 pm

Hi guys

Here is a list of stuff that is currently surplus to requirements. I would like to get rid of it since it occupies valuable space. If you see something you want, drop me a PM with some kind of price you are willing to pay. These are not usually cutting-edge stuff so not looking for too much... ;)

Hardware

1) Nokia M1122 ADSL Modem. Very good and stable ADSL modem with 4 RJ45 ethernet ports so you can also use it as a hub. Lots of online info about it. I need to get rid of it since I spent 2 days trying to get it to connect to my Finnet ADSL, and failed  Bought a new modem and it worked first time. So anyone on Finnet, this probably doesn't work. I used to use it with Elisa ADSL and I saw that Saunalahti are also using this device. You can still use it as a hub with no problemo though. Complete with original packaging. http://www.adsl4ever.com/media/seccions/soft/m1112.pdf

2) Microlink external ISDN modem with USB connection.

3) Asuscom ISDNLink PC-100 ISDN PCMCIA modem. Complete in original packaging.

4) MC221 Discovery V.90 56K PCMCIA modem.

5) SOLD US Robotics 8054 "turbo" wireless access point and router. SOLD

6) Dell TruMobile wireless router (Lucent RG-1000 model - "shark fin" design). If I recall, the wireless card inside the device was f****d - but I have a spare that you can take which should get it operational again ;) The spare is a PCMCIA card, so you could slap that in a laptop that doesn't have wireless support if you like. http://www.kataan.org/techref/rg1000.html

7) HP CD-Writer 8230e. External USB CD writer, 4x4x6 speed. Complete in original packaging.

8 ) SanDisk reader for CF cards (no other cards will fit!!!). USB connection.

9) Sony Vaio laptop circa year 2000 - PCG-Z600RE - PIII 500Mhz, 12Mb SDRAM, 12Gb hard disk, external CD drive, built in LAN, USB, memory stick sockets. Very light, 1.7Kg. Works fine but my daughter decided it would be fun to pull a couple of keys off it and drop it on the floor, thus making the power connection decidedly dogdy. I still have the keys but my fingers are too fat to get them reinstalled ;) Works fine as long as the power connector doesn't drop out - maybe you can duct tape it in place, I haven't tried. Battery is pretty much completely dead too. Currently has Linux Fedora installed but have somewhere all the original product restoration disks if needed.

10) Phillips SBC HC8320 wireless headphones. Dunno if they still work, free to good home.

11) Dell 19" CRT Monitor, black casing, very good Trinitron monitor.

Software - Games (all for PC) - all are complete in original packaging:

1) Act of War Direct Action. Almost new. German manuals but English in game. Works on 2000/XP.

2) WarCraft III Reign of Chaos. Works on 98/ME/2000/XP.

3) Sim City 4 - unopened! Still got the wrapper on and price tag of 59.90 Euro grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr. Works on 98/2000/ME/XP.

4) TOCA Race Driver. Works on 98/ME/2000/XP.

5) Command & Conquer Generals. Great game but no time to play anymore and graduated to WarHammer 40K instead ;) Works on 98/2000/ME/XP.

6) Command & Conquer Red Alert. Works on 95/98/2000/NT.

7) Call To Power II. Works on 95/98.

Miscellaneous

1) SOLD Nirvana Nevermind CD SOLD

That's all for now but most likely other crap will surface from time to time. You know the rules so hit that PM button :)

BTW I'm travelling a lot at the moment so likely my responses will be slow, please be patient.

Hi Paul,

Has the Nokia M1122 modem been connected to the 'Nokia' Elisa Home Office Connection? If so, it is the property of Elisa and had been locked down so it can't be tampered.

...Just so you know.

Thanks for that Neil, but negatory...I bought this modem with my own hard earned money! I really like it and am severely pissed that it doesn't connect. I have full access to its config interfaces, web based and CLI.
