Long term indoor parking

Post by pan93 » Mon Sep 30, 2024 2:59 pm

I am traveling outside Finland during Dec and Jan. Would like to park my car in covered parking so that its not buried in snow when I am back.
I live in Malmi and I have a paid reserved outdoor parking(20euros/month) from my housing company but unfortunately all their indoor parkings are full.
What would be the best option to get a cheap covered parking. Since I wont be driving my car during this time, a storage house where I can park once is also fine.

Parking garages closer to the airport may be of use, forexample: https://www.europark.fi/en/parking/p-hott/ and https://goparking.fi/pysakointialueet/

Does GoParking actually have garages at the airport, or only outdoor space?

Checked with go-parking, they dont have covered parking. Only good options I found till now is:
- Pelican Car Park, its covered and heated. 89euros/month.
- Aimo Park winter storage, only 1 time checkin and 1 time checkout allowed. 100,40 € / month incl. VAT. (https://www.aimopark.fi/en/rent-parking/winter-storage/)
- Europark 175,70€ incl. VAT/month/parking right

Have not personally used them but you can try your luck here.

it seems an expensive way to ensure there is no snow on the car when you get back. it might be mild at that time and there is no snow on it anyway. and if the car cools down before any snow lands on it then the snow can be brushed off in under 5 mins.
