Hello guys,
I applied for my residence permit due to family ties on 14/08/24 .
And on 10/10/24 I received an email informing me that my process went to step 2 (in progress)
How long did it take for you to send the decision?

The length of the processing stage can vary. For example, if migri needs additional information from you, it will take longer. When I applied for my first residence permit outside Finland, I think my application was in processing for slightly under a month. Both I and my spouse had to provide additional information, hence the delay.
Other people's experiences will of course be different.

Yes. It was super fast.
21/10 - I got my approval
25/10 - I got my permit residente card
