Hei,
I need help with extending my stay in Finland.
I am a medical doctor and lived almost 4 years in Finland. I want to work as a medical doctor here.
I do not come from an EU/EEA country.
I am single
In 2 years, I graduated with a Masters in Public Health.
I have been studying Finnish full time for a year and half now in the integration program. I have a year more to learn Finnish for free.
I have my medical degree certified by Valvira
My resident permit expires in 4 months to come and confused on what type of resident permit to apply for.
I have been on student permit till now.
I have applied to many amanuensis (paid doctors internship) but they require me to improve on my Finnish or they either don't have space.
I am around B1 level and will be trying the YKI test next month.
So my questions are 1. What kind of resident permit do I switch to?
2. Can I extend my stay without a job if I don't get amanuensi by then.
Medical doctor needs help!
