Please translate

I would appreciate if some one can please translate this in English

"Lukema tarkoittaa, että voit ladata 18.49 kB/s Elisan palvelimelta,
jos sinulla ei ole muuta liikennettä. Huom! lukema ei ole datasiirron tekniikoista
johtuen sama kuin liittymän nimellisnopeus. "

Here you go - I'm not sure about the exact terms here but I guess you'll get the idea... I suppose you've taken the Elisa internet connection speed test? :)

"This reading (figure) means that you can download 18.49 kb/second from the Elisa server, if you do not have any other (data) traffic going on. NB: because of different techniques of data transfer, this figure is not equal to the nominal speed of your connection"

Cheerio,

Thanks Sammy, thanks a lot

yeah I took it from Elisa speed test, they are playing trick these days. The speed comes to 167 Kbps when it should be 512 K. They asked me to check the speed first. Tommorrow I am going to call them again.
