Bathtub Wanted

Post by miapia » Tue Nov 15, 2005 9:08 pm

Does anyone have a cheap bathtub for sale? Or know of anyone that is getting rid of one? The only requirement is that it needs to be at least 140 cm long - unfortunately impossible to afford the new ones and the size wanted is never on sale. My toddler has outgrown the baby bathtub and would love to have a regular one for myself too!

Please email me if have any info tckemi@yahoo.com

I'm in Helsinki.

Thanks!!

Trang, Mook had one in his backyard. Send him a PM and see if he still has it. It was about 180cm or so.

Mmmm, the bath. It was in the bathroom when we bought our apartment, so it's been in use until fairly recently. It's incredibly heavy so it must be cast iron. We kinda got fed up of it, so it now lives in the shed..

It's roughly 180 x 70 cm (I just measured the space that it was in, rather than traipse down to the shed).

There's a couple of pictures here:

(I have the drain bitty too)

I was thinking that it might be worth about 100 Euros, but I'm open to suggestions.

I wish I had the space for it.

I can try to measure it, but I'm not sure that it'll get *much* smaller :)

oh shoot Karen..I'm sorry, I posted wrong... I meant max 140 cm, it's so hard to find. Now the longer ones have been quite easy to find used, but these darn short ones. Our shower room is rather spacious but everything is placed so badly - we would have to remodel the entire room to fit something over 140 which we just can't do now.

Anyone out there with a bathtub 140 cm long or less for cheap sale? tckemi@yahoo.com
