I think as the Big Mämmi I might say if you have no clue of what "Internet Relay Chat" is then you are unable to chat with Finns' - as they invented the bloody thing in the ways back when.

There are some java-based chatrooms, but mostly people use IRC clients, that is people who chat online. I have been on a cold-chat-turkey for a while
