Unfortunately I do not know that much about Seinäjoki. I hope that someone else does.

Here is information on the current weather conditions in Seinäjoki + a five day weather forecast in Italian :

Well if you like rock festivals or tango festivals, then once a year you're in luck. The rest of the year I think the place could be fairly described as dull. My mother in la lives there nowadays, and after showing the Alvar Aalto cathedral, the only think that she could think to show was the 1970's market square ;)

I believe that you will find la Rondine both interesting and useful.

I liked Seinäjoki when I was there. It's a quiet little place (comparitively). The town pretty much rolls up the streets and goes to sleep after dark. You may find some action in one of the more upscale baris down by the train station. Look for the ONE (and there's only one) that has a bunch of people hanging around it.

The Dudesons (Extreme Duudsonit) come from there don't they? lol, that's about all I know on Seinäjoki

I guess you could call it in English terms a "market town" - a fairly quiet country town of 30 000 people. It feels slightly bigger than that as it is the capital of the Province of Southern Ostrobothnia (the capital P adviced), but still I would not say that the nightlife or the cultural scene would be exactly pulsating. The summers are nice though with several sizable events (not only Provinssi and Tangomarkkinat).

Well, the egos for example are reputed to be, hmm, inflated... If this is possible in the Province that is the centre of the known universe.

Totally NOT! They have cars :D or 'mopoauto' :'DD

I don't know what I should tell about Seinäjoki... I live about 30 minutes from there so I go there often for shopping. It's a nice place.
