Can anyone tell me what are the changes for the new EU countries´ citizens moving to Finland after the 1st of may 2006, when those ´restrictions´are over :)
I live here for a while already...partially here in Tampere with my bf, partially in Latvia. We never had any need to get me a KELA card or what so ever, but it might be that after summer I will have to stay here more and then I will have to go through all the procedures of making my stay here all the official...getting the address...get to know about health care.
So I was thinking if there is still any need for getting the long term residence permit...or they have made it much easier :?

You need to get the EU-residence thing done still, but its now just a formality as if you were any other Punch or Pierrot (or should I say Judy or Dulcinella ).... ;) For KELA you need to be resident/working for a while.
