Adams Children's Clothing Store - EVERYTHING 60-80% off!

Post by Xochiquetzal » Wed Jul 12, 2006 7:11 pm

The Adams Children's Clothing Store boutique in the 2nd floor of the Helsingin Sanomatalo building is moving to Itakeskus and completely clearing out their stock of high quality clothing from the UK. Everything in the store in 60-80% off.

They have girls and boys clothing, shoes, hats, formal outfits, infant products (grobags, toys, pacificers, etc.) and a LOT of beautiful infant wear. Adams is very classy vs the frilliness of a Monsoon. This is a good store for the conservative moms out there.

The sale just started so as of today they are still very well stocked. If you'd like to get very high clothing for really great prices (jeans $5, dresses $8, etc.) then I recommend getting there soon while the stock is good. They also have very fancy childrens formal wear suitable for the weddings and christenings you have to go to.

The Helsingin Sanomatalo is the large glass building between the Museum of Modern Art Kiasma and the Railway station (also next to the postal building). Easy access from train or bus.

So, is this the store run by "The Adams Family"?

That might have been amusing if you had actually spelled it correctly - Charles Addams' The Addams Family.

"Adams is very classy" - I've never heard that before, it is just a run of the mill high street chain store in the UK, nothing special at all!

Will go and have a look though!
Thanks for that

Compared to Seppala or Lindex, or especially that crap Bogi line at Stockman? Yes, I consider it to be much classier. Is it Burberry, no.

Seems like I spend 1/2 my time on FF posting and the other half having to defend those posts. Makes me regret the time lost. *sigh*

Just came back from Adams! The BEST summer sales discounts for baby clothes so far!!! :star: Thanks for the tip-off Xo! Got that Grobag I've been eyeing for 60% less! And cleared the racks for baby outfits! (just wished I had known this two weeks ago!)

Good news - they're getting a new shipment by next week and everything will be on 60-80% as well!

Xochiquetzal- I wasn't asking you to defend your post, I was meerly stating that Adams in the UK is not regarded as classy. It is just your usual run of the mill kids clothes that are inexpensive to buy. I did thank you for posting the sale news and said I would take a look.

Shazzer- GroBags are excellent. Sophie has slept in one since day 1. She is now in the larger size summer one- it prevents her from climbing out her cot!

Yabbut ya innit in the UK. In Finland anything is "classy" by the local (bog)standards. Even Tesco would be a luxury store

Thanks for the tip. We went there today and bought two pairs of jeans. Though when you see the original prices in £ and the price they're selling here in euros it kind of makes me sick... Adams is not that good quality, it's a pretty cheap shop in the UK (at least it was 3 years ago). 30 euros for a pair of cord trousers is not worth it. So yeah all this to say glad I went as I got two jeans for 16 euros but I wouldn't buy from there if it wasn't -60 to 80%...

hi there ...

thanks very much.

i went there and bought a lot of things for our newborn and i must say whatever their reputation in the UK, they are the best baby clothes i have found in helsinki!!! and they gave me hangars for her entire wardrobe and i didn't have to go around town hunting for small hangars.
