Does anyone know of a squash league in Helsinki or Espoo? or, does anyone fancy a game some evening?

Hi,

I live in Espoo where there is quite a competitive squash league at Esport Centre in Olari. I am not a member but it looks good. I used to play a fair bit when i was younger (i am now 23) and would fancy a game if you were able to come to Espoo?

..something happened to squash here in the last 10 years, there's a court in Lautasari where I play when not recovering from playing Floorball - there used to be seven courts there, now all but one have been converted into a gym..

..I think Finns find squash a bit 'eighties..'

..whereas tennis seems more hip..if you're loaded and can afford 20euro an hour..

Totally agree. There used to be tons of courts in Tampere too but they all got converted to gyms etc. I am looking for squash people in Tampere too if anyone's out there. I THINK there are courts in GoGo near the Cumulus hotel on Hameenpuisto...Agree also about the tennis, shockingly expensive in Tampere also (22€ per hour at tenniskeskus I think).
