Squash
Does anyone know of a squash league in Helsinki or Espoo? or, does anyone fancy a game some evening?

..something happened to squash here in the last 10 years, there's a court in Lautasari where I play when not recovering from playing Floorball - there used to be seven courts there, now all but one have been converted into a gym..
..I think Finns find squash a bit 'eighties..'
..whereas tennis seems more hip..if you're loaded and can afford 20euro an hour..

Totally agree. There used to be tons of courts in Tampere too but they all got converted to gyms etc. I am looking for squash people in Tampere too if anyone's out there. I THINK there are courts in GoGo near the Cumulus hotel on Hameenpuisto...Agree also about the tennis, shockingly expensive in Tampere also (22€ per hour at tenniskeskus I think).cow-heada wrote:..something happened to squash here in the last 10 years, there's a court in Lautasari where I play when not recovering from playing Floorball - there used to be seven courts there, now all but one have been converted into a gym..
