Translation to Finnish needed!

Post by Nightwish » Mon Oct 16, 2006 7:14 am

Tarja Turunen is going to sign autographs and I want to tell her this! Could someone translate these 2 paragraphs in Finnish for me?

Thanks a lot!!

1.- Tarja I want to tell you that your voice is really really incredible and it woke up my wish of singing and studying lyrical singing. I'm really happy for having known your voice and I'm very excited about your Solo Album because you will be able to make the most of your qualities. Thanks for everything!

2.- Sorry, I don't know anything else of Finnish, just simple sentences but I'm trying to learn it by Internet Courses because there are no teachers.

So actually you do know something about the Finnish language? I'm just asking because your sentences are quite difficult to understand thoroughly.

Anyway, here it goes:

So why do you want to torture someone speaking some gibberish neither you nor her will understand?

Speak English - she is a civilized person.

Speking of civilization - some time ago there was a young girl in Viipuri, wearing Russija -shirt, who said boldly to a microfone: There was no civilization untill the Russians brought it here.

Well, I was more thinking of those uncivilized peoples that think everyone in the world speaks their language.

Hi,

Have you seen this video - it's rather a strange & humorous take on the lyrics of "Wishmaster" :)

Should we drag out the age-old debate on whether one should meet one's heroes/heroines or not? What if they have zits and bad table manners? Will that destroy the mystique? Or will the shrinkage to human size inspire us in our own endeavours? We could all be heroes. Just for one day.

Another beard-stroker, that one.

An Finnish msn Friend helped me with this and I'd like to know if it sounds correct for you:

1-

Rest is fine I guess, and even without correction you can easily understand it, the grammar just isn't perfect.
