Ok, that was impressive. The biggest crowd I've seen yet at a store opening. The best I can say is that at least they handled the crowd well.

I decided not to go. I can't imagine how crazy it must have been.

Me too, I'm way too old (and so are my kids) to fight the crowds for Lego.... but I might sneak in on Monday to see if there are any PS2 left at half price.

I went back at 1:00 - it was deserted. But there were still people walking out with 1-2 cartfuls of toys. I can't imagine what they were buying, though, since I was singularly unimpressed with the 'sale'. I didn't find one item to buy at all :/ 1-2 sets of legos might have 6e off 50e or such - but that was it. Bummer. I am really glad I didn't wait all morning for this, though.

I checked their prices out on their website and was unimpressed as well. Like everything else here it's overpriced. My daughters are into Little Pony and I got three big ones off ebay (new) from the US. With the prices of each item plus postage I ended up paying as much as I would have paid here for one! I went to France last week and bought a few toys, on average I'm saving 10 euros per toy!
