RAAM: I *really* want your U in a choli!! She sounds so beautiful!
Actually, I really need more practice and did make mistakes with Deshan's pictures. So I want to continue to do portfolio building free-sessions - I'm not ready to charge yet. And I want kids of all ages - newborn to 18 year old!
Right now, it's all about scheduling. I need natural light for my portraits since I don't do studio work (you can get that anywhere here). And there are only 3 or so hours of good light a day - between 11:00 and 2:00 at the latest. So I need a) a place with natural light coming in through windows or b) an outdoor location and a child with something other than a snowsuit (You can't see anything but a blob in one of those!).
I would love to take pictures inside the heated and naturally lit botanical gardens in Tooloo (top of the lake). And I'd love to take outdoor shots anywhere with any aged kid in a nice coat or jacket and mittens. And I'd LOVE to take pictures of a kid in their own enviornment - bedrooms, livingroom, etc - anywhere that has a window that lets in enough light. So anyone who has any of the above ready - give me a PM with a date you're available and I'll be there with a camera, a release form so I can use pics in my portfolio building, and a promise you can have all the pictures from the shoot. I am happy to take pics of any size or group of kids - you don't have to dress them up or anything, just put them in an outfit that doesn't turn them into a michelin man like a snowsuit does.
I'm quite happy to do family shots as well and hope mom and dad want to join in.
I can't promise the pictures will come out perfectly professional or be suitable for the bigger enlargements - the light is weak this time of year so I am forced to use settings that make the pics a bit grainy and unsuitable for sizes over 8x10. But I'll take lots of pics and hopefully I can give you 5-6 really good ones.
So if you have a location you can give me and a definite midday time and date, give me a PM and we can schedule a shoot (about 1 hour).
