Rannaton comes from "ranta" (shore). "ton" in the end turns it into "without shore" (open sea).

Tahdotonta comes from "tahto" (will). Again there is "ton", and that makes it "without will". And the word ends in ta, so I suppose the grammar term is objective.

Liikuttelee comes from "liikutella" (move, stir), and means "moves" or "stirs". It is the same as liikuttaa, just a little more poetic, I suppose in this case it could be translated as "floats".

Open sea, it floats one without a will.

Something like that.

"Salla tahtoo siivet" : http://www.lyricsandsongs.com/print_song/201114.html

It is often easier to translate words in song lyrics if you have the context.

Eh, had I known it was from that song, I could have pointed out the translation of the whole thing already.

And because I don't trust these random lyrics sites, here's the official site: http://pmmp.fi/kovemmat_kadet.php#sallatahtoosiivet
I have a habit of asking odd questions... Sorry!

"-rannaton, se tahdotonta liikuttelee-"

Sorry, the following text is a bloody rant.

I am tired of our liberty to write and say whatever gives a bloody effect, or craves for a lack of it.

I shall not give this citation a benefit of the context, and therefore submit myself to be in the same well of stale water.

A citation: "hi,who knows what that means?"

I do not and will not know.

Sorry to be so angry, I'm an agreeable fellow as such but I'm having a very well justified disagreement with my own bloody prose here.

(I'm not drunk, you know. - Fast Show.)

Which of these choices is Submit, which is Preposterous. Shall try both.

P.
