I'm really not looking for any particular age. Just looking for someone who likes modeling, especially someone who wants to go "funky" with interesting make ups and effects. I'd love someone goth but I'll take anything right now. I just want to have fun with the photography!Tadpole'sMommy wrote:What age are you looking for?

Hey Xochi,
A stupid q: Why are you waiting for someone to recognize you as a pro photographer? Why cant you turn yourself Pro like Many amateurs in other professions do?
I mean, what is your main purpose in doing photography when you already are soo good that you can start your own business ( instead of working for someone) that I am pretty sure that you will already have many client from this Forum!!
Or Am I totally lost on what you are really wanting to do?
Just curious thats all!!

I do plan to start my own business. But I do not feel comfortable charging clients until I am confident of consistent results. I don't have that yet (e.g., I had one pro bono for a very nice lady here completely bomb last December - not one decent picture of her beautiful little girl). So I am looking to get all the experience I can until I know this camera and my skills in and out. And I am definitely going to make sure I get beautiful pictures of that little girl the next time.
First comes experience - or I can't charge for my expertise, now can I?

Hmmm..Well if you believe that all of those people who are professionals dont ever mess up..You will be surprised. and one mistake doesnt mean that you are not a professional photographer Xochi!! I do believe that your photography is too good for you to start missing out on time to establish your business further. Your perfection will always have that time..Xochiquetzal wrote:I do plan to start my own business. But I do not feel comfortable charging clients until I am confident of consistent results. If Picasso had waited for 30 years to paint..
If Mozart had waited to start his career when he was 30..

I am pretty sure that your pro bono of that girl will turn out fine!!
Does anyone else see different?
