Hi

It depends on how much the airline will charge to bring it over.

To get a new board here will cost over 150€ for a cheapest of the cheap board and bindings. From my own experience it can be tricky to get a 2nd hand board. So I would say bring it if they dont charge too much.
Oh, God, God, God! What on earth was I drinking last night? My head feels like there's a Frenchman living in it.

I expect if you can get the board in with your normal luggage you'll be fine, but if not, at least British Airways now let you take some sports equipment in addition to your normal allowance! This includes a snowboard (plus boots and bindings).

Most airlines should have a page on their site detailing their rules.
