I am a researcher from the University of Turku and I wish to find "foreign" families and couples located in Finland which use/live in "vehicular languages" (languages of which none of the parents / couple members is a native speaker - vehicular languages are sometimes refered to as "lingua francas").

Very interesting subject. As an EFL teacher I have had young students in my classes who were learning English precisely because it was the vehicular language of the home. I found it fascinating.
