Sorry - first post & just finding my way around so my apologies if this is elsewhere.

Anyone know if this is on any Finnish channels on saturday? I'm over in Åland btw & we only have 1, fairly poor, Sports bar here.

I don't think the game will be on Finnish TV on Saturday... They don't know Rugby here...
It's like, do they show the final of the ski jumping on TV in UK? So...

I think they'd have it on Ski Sunday or even Grandstand given the lack of sport on bbc these days. Think they might pull up short of that one where they ski across country for hours & then shoot at some targets though....

How about online then? If allowed of course....

Go to Welho, take up their 3 weeks free Viasat package and you'll get all 3 of the Viasat sports channels (rugby on one of those) it also offers the TV5(?) French channel which i believe shows the rugby?

My previous post here

The rugby was on in the bar i was in last saturday. I was more interested in the Finland match but will watch the final this weekend.

Not bad idea for Welho...remember doing that in April to watch live the NCAA Basketball Finals (where a French won title for second year in a row)...I don't think they will let me try against the package now! ;-)

Anyway, TV5 will show the game, that is sure...

Not sure if Viasat are showing the final LIVE, or maybe they've made a mistake on their website, or maybe I've misread/miscalculated the time-difference...

http://www.viasat.fi/?sivu=34&k=8&o=8&p=6

The match is due to kick off at 20:00 BST (22:00 finnish time). But in the link above, the program doesnt start until 00:00 (but i'm not sure is that finnish or swedish time) :?

The 3rd place match is on TV5 Monde tonight, and the final at the same time tomorrow

I fear the Saffers are going to spank us, but here's to an entertaining final whatever the result.

thank you technology! We only have a canalplus package really, but also still have an old satellite from a short lived viasat package, so we managed to find tv5monde, very exciting first half, thank you 9-3 to SA, but pretty enjoyable so far, not the slaughtering I expected (yet...)

..South Africa win

How depressing.

I found a use for my All Black jersey, cleaning the ash off the taka glass - or are they the ashes of New Zealand rugby :(

Nice one England, it wasn't a fluke - it was hard graft and with Tait and Flood up for the next four years, those games are going to be well worth tuning in for..
