Dh has been offered a job in Finland, he is a US citizen. The lawyers are saying that a company needs to have a Finnish citizen to be able to sign--i am assuming sign checks or decisions or something--anyway--i thought i read here that a foreign person could also sign.
Does anyone know about this? Thank you in advance!
does a company need a Finnish national to "sign"

Is that some sort of security or defence company? Or they have close relationship with the military, then I guess a Finnish citizenship is required.

hey Finnmom,
sign what??
sign his job papers?
There are no checks in Finland to sign for..
Decisions in a company need no signature unless he is the CEO..
But foreign person could sign for what??

If they're talking of a "procura", the law of procura doesn't say anything of nationality?
Cheers, Hank W.
