I am over thirty and cannot become a 3 year old child and go to kindergarten.

The question has been answered many, many times before. If you use search I am sure you can find what you are looking for.

Short answer: it will take you years, unless you are exceptionally gifted.

If the traditional methods

are of no use to you, then I'd suggest some beginner's crash course first and then -depending on your personal motivation and other such things- continuing to a more advanced course, or (and) speaking & reading & listening to Finnish as much as you can.

There's no shortcuts... you'll need to go through quite a few hoops if you're starting from scratch (or from an itch, as the case might be). It's more or less the same with whatever foreign language you'd undertake to learn. What the fastest way is, depends also on yourself - what makes you 'tick' as a learner.

You asked for the "fastest way". Not what is possible for you.

Rapses, I guess you live in Finland. As someone said before me, try to take a course, search for materials on the net, watch TV and try to keep up with the subtitles, read a lot. ( reading the word helps me keep it in mind better than to listen to it. I have to see it :) )

So go Finnish. Sleep Finnish. Eat Finnish. Fu... make love Finnish ;)

The fastest way is to want to take the way :) But really, really to want it! And i am sure you'll find your own methods to get it.

Good luck!

Get involved with Finns (or Finnish speaking people) as much as you can (& even more!) and force yourself not to use ANY (!!!) single word in English! Do not answer to anything that is said to you in an other language than Finnish.

If you manage to get a Job where no one speaks anything else than Finnish, you will learn Finnish quite quickly. But again, this is this sort of advice of "what is the fastest way and not what is possible".
