AFAIK there's currently no limit for applying... naturally, however, you can only accept one study placement (even if you're lucky and are offered several).

I'm not sure whether this will change when the universities will move to the on-line application system at http://www.universityadmissions.fi *... for the academic year 2008-2009, only four universities are involved but in the future most international degree programmes are likely to be involved in the joint application... and then there may be limitations, like e.g. you have now when applying to the UAS's at http://www.admissions.fi (IIRC you can only apply to four different programmes there).

There might be some restrictions concerning those programmes that are applied through the above mentioned university admissions page. So read the instructions carefully - it says that "Your choice of university at the beginning of Online Application system (before the registration) affects the selection of degree programmes you can apply to."

http://www.universityadmissions.fi/inde ... pplication

I'd presume that if you wish to apply to those universities that are not yet using the on-line application system, you may send in as many applications as you like. Another thing is whether that would be advisable, it might be better to apply for those particular programmes that you are REALLY interested in, not just for the sake of applying.

*) NB the application pages will be opened soon, on the 15th Nov.

I agree with the others...there's no limit for the application. But it would be too costly if you would be applying too many universities since you will be sending alot of docs.

Normally they require you to send it by post and some of the docs like IELTS, you cant just send it by yourself, the testing center will send it directly to the school if requested. Based on my experience, I just applied one university and its ok.

There are just few universities here which offers master's programme taught in English for foreign students. Unless of course if you know finnish, then that wouldn't be a problem.

Goodluck
