Aseanic/Vii Voan

Have been usually shopping in Aseanic - but today went into Vii Voan and was rather amzed at how big it is now - looks like variety has expanded tremendously. prices seem good - a lot of frozen seafood. Lot of veggies - spices, preserved goods, etc.

Got 500g Japanese misto paste for 4 Euro.

I didn't get a chance to go to Aseanic. Has VV now become better than A? Cheaper? Anyone want to make any comparisons?

It's hard to compare them in the sense that they don't have the same
selection. But I can't stand the customer service at Vii Voan and will
go to Aseanic any day of the week if they have what I'd buy from Vii
Voan (which has expanded into the pub that used to be next door,
which is why it seems so much larger ;)).

Did you mean:

...Vii Voan (which has expanded into the pub that used to be next door,
which is why it seems there's so much lager.

First thing is they're both great - and I'll go out of my way to find the strengths of each one so as to encourage them both

And I'd integrate a 3rd or 4th one if that would be the case.

Ir will be great to have a real unofficial Conglomerate there.

Anyhow - with only a few minutes - I noted VV had gotten much more competitive with seafood, veggies, separate spices, separate pickles etc - many the same as at A

Then to find the butcher in the Halli with great fresh ribs
