Supplementary Work

Post by mcmcmcmc5 » Tue Nov 27, 2007 12:06 pm

Hi there,

Since my last posting things have certainly moved forward. I am doing some freelance work within my specialist field, and am also working as an occasional substitute teacher for Järvenpää city council along with a once weekly gig teaching English to kindergarten kids.

I would like to find some more work to supliment my families income. I am thinking of bartending, or construction work, as in my experience, these type of jobs usually have a quick turnover of staff, and hence should enable me to start very quickly.

Of course if any positions are open in education or music please don't hesitate to let me know.

But my main question is how does one go about obtaining bartending/ construction work in Finland. Would I need a CSCS card or equivalent?

Many thanks, a great forum, its nice to so many people with a desire to help each other out in Finland.

Kindest Regards,

Saul.
