Texican Party

Post by mCowboy » Fri Dec 07, 2007 1:00 am

ok, since the previous thread's subject was a bit misleading... I thought we could start a new thread for planning the next party...

Btw, I don't wanna have the party right after Xmas... I don't wanna eat leftover turkey/ham texmex dishes...

I dreamed last night that we had the party at Xochi's house. We can have it at my house in March.

Does your dreams often tell the future?

I am up for it again!! and I ll most probably drive this time and with wife n the kids!!
Hmm since the timeframe is in march, mebbe 22nd march seems like a good day between Good Friday and Easter!!
a TexMex break wouldnt be bad in between!!
since we have traditional dinner on those 2 days too!!

I'm not sure I can host it that weekend. We'll most likely have the AWC
Easter party that weekend and I'm the organizer.

I'll ask on Tuesday if we have it that weekend or not. Sometimes people grumble that it's not on Easter weekend and others grumble that it is. I don't remember the latest grumble.

When I divorce and then remarry a man who isn't asocial, I'll invite you all over :)

That, and when I finally get the kitchen done. A stainless sink, cobbled together counter top, and tiny 3-burner stove ain't gonna cut it :/

It's a shame because your husband is so nice. I just tell mine when/where
and that he's going. He always enjoys it once he gets there. You can tell your
dh that if he's the host, he's got a great excuse to hide in the kitchen.

You've done amazing work so far. I'm sure your kitchen will be equally fantastic once you finish it.
