Visitation issues with the ex wife and other problems

Post by Rimi » Fri Dec 28, 2007 4:39 pm

Hi all.
In one post some time ago (around September i think), I mentioned how my ex has arbitrarily decided that she would not let me have access to my child for the 3 1/2 days a week stipulated in the custody agreement (joint custody). Some one suggested that I keep records of all of this and any other thing that relates to my ex's non fulfillment of the agreement.

Well, now that Ive been doing that for a while, what should I do with it? I have reason to believe that my daughter is in danger due to my ex's drastic change in circumstances and documented cases of neglect and verbal/physical abuse.

So what is the next step? Do I just call social? A lawyer? I have no idea.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Well, the person we sat with when we signed the custody agreement no longer works there in kallio, so thats not going to work. I am going to the social office where my child lives and making a complaint. I might just contact a lawyer as well.

thanks

i dont know who the new person is, but I think I just might go there anyway, seeing that it is the head social office location.

thanks

I went there today but the lady in charge of our case is on vacation. One person did help though. I was told that they can do nothing to enforce the actual custody order. I was instructed to go the District court and file a complaint so if it happens again, there will be a consequence (an official presence to make sure that my child is able to come with me). We'll see what happens next.

thanks
