We are looking for a Software Test Engineer Trainee to join our software testing team. Your main duties include executing software tests, reporting test results and defects using Rational ClearQuest, follow-up of defects and verification of corrections. You work actively with our software developers to meet the schedule and ensure software quality.
A suitable candidate has completed at least 1½ years of studies in a technical major. Basic knowledge of software development, good command of English and effective communication skills are required. Previous experience with software testing or biomedical engineering is considered an advantage.
The traineeship lasts approximately from March to September 2008. The starting date, duration and hours per week are negotiable, but we wish you to be able to work 20 hours per week during the semesters and full time in the summer.
